We focus on high-impact activities such as those that use mixed native species or agroforestry including crops that diversify income streams

Improved Forest Management (IFM)

We ensure activities go beyond common practice in similar lands and utilize the latest high-quality methodologies

Wetland Restoration and Conservation (WRC)

We ensure activities are based on a scientifically rigorous site assessment, follow best management practices and incorporate long-term monitoring and adaptive management

Household Devices (Cookstoves and Water Filters)

We work with communities to ensure culturally appropriate use and leverage the latest technologies to ensure accurate accounting while maximizing health and other sustainable development outcomes

Other Environmental and Social Assets

We are actively creating innovative new environmental and social assets, including

• Biodiversity credits, using innovative technologies that measure and monitor changes in biodiversity across project areas
• Verra’s Sustainable Development Verified Impact Standard (SD VISta) for certifying the benefits of social and environmental projects, from gender equity and economic development to affordable clean energy and restoration of wildlife
• W+ Standard that measures women’s empowerment in a transparent and quantifiable manner, gives a monetary value to results and creates a new channel to direct financial resources to women
• Soil carbon, by partnering with researchers pioneering new, affordable, tools for measuring and monitoring improvements in soil carbon across project areas
• Biochar, a vital carbon solution, that now can be used to generate carbon credits thanks to a newly approved Verra methodology
